Hi. I like your blog. well done!
Congrats to Laura! I wish had
Congrats to Laura! I wish had my announcement out yesterday in time to participate in the contest. I wanted to share my recent career change as a result of Twitter...
I juest joined an agency, and I became acquainted with them via Twitter. We chatted some for a few months, but nothing about work. Kadyden Kelly, the CEO, is also a cyclist, so we had common ground. He spoke at SES San Jose, and we never crossed physical paths, just shared tweets. He said he watched how I was interacting with people online and knew that's what he wanted as part of his team! No kidding!
I'm now VP, Online Marketing Director at Blast Advanced Media: http://www.blastam.com/online-marketing-director.aspx
Point: You never know who's watching. Be yourself and be personable. Share your interests. You might have an opportunity to work with birds of a feather!
